Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY) refused to answer The Gateway Pundit’s questions on Thursday about his past statements opposing a Hunter Biden pardon.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Joe Biden issued a full and unconditional pardon to his son, Hunter Biden, on Sunday, absolving him of any federal crimes committed between 2014 and 2024.
Hunter was facing federal tax fraud charges in California and felony gun charges in Delaware, but the sweeping pardon denies prosecution for any crime he may have committed.
This includes the cocaine found in the White House, any financial crimes, and the Biden family’s influence peddling that Hunter was involved in since he joined Ukraine energy firm Burisma’s board of directors in 2014.
Biden is now exempt from prosecution for emails where he shared classified information with Ukrainian business partners like Burisma board members. He will also not be prosecuted for taking a gift of diamonds from China, likely in exchange for classified information.
This also comes after Biden, the White House, high-ranking Democrats, and the leftwing media lied for months and said Hunter Biden wouldn’t receive a pardon, citing their respect for the rule of law.
Goldman also previously agreed it would be a “mistake” for Biden to pardon his son and stated, “I don’t think there’s any chance that President Biden is going to do that.” But Biden did do that.
Surprisingly, CNN brought up his past statements in an interview. Goldman didn’t correct his past statements but instead doubled down, saying, “I think that if that plea agreement and that plea deal had gone through, there would be no pardon.” However, as CNN anchor Brianna Keilar noted, the plea agreement had already fallen through.

The Gateway Pundit correspondent Jordan Conradson confronted Goldman on Thursday, and he refused to clarify whether or not it was a mistake for Joe Biden to pardon Hunter.
