According to a tweet on her official X handle (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, former Democratic Presidential Candidate, Tulsi Gabbard has revealed the plans of Vice President Kamala Harris and the Democrats for former President Donald Trump.
She made this known days after announcing her full endorsement for former President Donald Trump to be the President of the United States for the second time. Recall that Tulsi Gabbard once ran for the Presidency under the Democratic Party in 2020 before leaving the party.
Meanwhile, Special counsel Jack Smith has filed a superseding indictment against former President Donald Trump on Tuesday in which he again accused Trump of resisting the peaceful transfer of power after the 2020 presidential election.
Smith narrowed the allegations after a landmark Supreme Court ruling on presidential power earlier this year.
The new 36-page charging document is based on a more refined set of allegedly criminal acts after the Supreme Court ruled Trump was immune from prosecution for some of the conduct included in Smith’s original 45-page indictment returned last year.
Reacting to this development, Tulsi Gabbard accused Vice President Kamala Harris and the Democrats of attempting to interfere with the upcoming November 5th election.
She went on to add that they would stop at nothing to ensure Donald Trump is put behind bars.
In a strongly worded statement, Tulsi Gabbard expressed her concerns regarding the actions of the current administration.
She stated, “Kamala Harris claims to uphold the rule of law, as she and the Democrat elite undermine the rule of law, weaponizing our judicial system against Trump, with new indictments filed today.”
“Their abuse of power is endless. They will stop at nothing to try to destroy President Trump and put him behind bars.”
