The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office awarded scholarships to almost 30 students.
Sheriff Eric Fagan and Captain Kevin Hunt’s “Jokes and Justice” program, along with Patrick’s Project and Unlimited Visions Aftercare, Inc., granted $1,500 to 26 graduating seniors from Fort Bend County high schools.
The program started in 2014 to bring law enforcement and the community together and has bestowed $136,000 in scholarships to graduating seniors.

Each student also received a custom medallion, a t-shirt, and a proclamation from State Rep. Ron Reynolds. Sheriff Fagan said, “It was a good day to reward such deserving students with these scholarships totaling $39,000.”
