MSNBC’s resident whacko Joy Reid has had her show canceled.
According to multiple media reports, Reid’s show The ReidOut will air its final episode this week.
Reid’s show will be replaced with a program led by a three anchors; Symone Sanders Townsend, a political commentator and former Democratic strategist, Michael Steele, a former chairman of the Republican National Committee and TV journalist Alicia Menendez.
The New York Times reports:
Joy Reid’s evening news show on MSNBC is being canceled, part of a far-reaching programming overhaul orchestrated by Rebecca Kutler, the network’s new president, two people familiar with the changes said.
The final episode of Ms. Reid’s 7 p.m. show, “The ReidOut,” is planned for sometime this week, according to the people, who were not authorized to speak publicly.
The show, which features in-depth interviews with politicians and other newsmakers, has been a fixture of MSNBC’s lineup for the past five years.
The network has so far refused to comment publicly on their plans.
The cancellation of her show is a final humiliation for Reid, who is notorious for her far-left views and her constant sharing of conspiracy theories and extreme rhetoric against conservatives and Republicans.
Back in December, it was reported that Reid had been asked to take a pay cut from her $3 million yearly salary as the network’s ratings continued to crash in the wake of Donald Trump’s stunning election victory.
NEW: Far-left MSNBC host Joy Reid will have to take a pay cut if she wants to stay in her role at the network, according to The Ankler.
The news comes after Rachel Maddow was also reportedly forced to take a $5M pay cut.

There have also been suggestions that MSNBC’s parent company Comcast are ready to offload the network to a potential buyer, although there have so far been no publicly disclosed offers.

Trump, meanwhile, has called the network a “threat to our democracy” because of its constant lies and misrepresentations.
“MSNBC, COMMONLY KNOWN AS MSDNC, IS A THREAT TO OUR DEMOCRACY. SUCH LYING AND MISREPRESENTATION,” he wrote on Truth Social on Saturday. “BAD PEOPLE AT THE TOP!”
Last month, he also argued the network should not have a right to broadcast.
“MSDNC is even worse than CNN,” he posted on January 22nd. “They shouldn’t even have a right to broadcast — Only in America!”
