Celebrations muted as Blueface sentenced to 2-5 years in prison for grazing man’s hand in Las Vegas strip club shooting.
Despite receiving a suspended sentence, rapper Blueface’s sentencing for a 2022 strip club shooting in Las Vegas has sparked mixed reactions.
Some fans are celebrating the fact that the rapper will not be going to prison, while others are disappointed that he was not given a harsher sentence for his actions.
The victim of the shooting, Kentavius Traylor, has said that he is “disgusted” by Blueface’s sentence. Traylor said that he believes Blueface should have been sent to prison for his crime.
“I’m not happy at all,” Traylor said. “I think he should have gone to prison. He shot me in the hand. I could have lost my hand. I could have been killed.”
Others have defended Blueface’s sentence, saying that it was appropriate given the circumstances of the case. They argue that Blueface has taken responsibility for his actions and is committed to turning his life around.
“Blueface has apologized for his actions and has said that he is committed to being a better person,” said one fan. “I think the judge gave him a fair sentence.”
