President Trump sat down with Bret Baier on Sunday for a pre-Super Bowl interview where the two discussed his warp-speed efforts to save America from the destruction caused over the last four years and some of his future plans, including making Canada the 51st state and who will succeed him as President.
Baier asked if the President views his Vice President, JD Vance, as the Republican nominee for President in 2028, and Trump responded, “No.”
Still, he emphasized that Vance is “very capable” and “doing a fantastic job.”
“It’s too early. We’re just starting,” he added.
When pressed about the upcoming midterm elections being a possible deadline for picking a successor, Trump touted the success his administration has had in the last three weeks.
It appears that the President is not even focused on who will succeed him in four years and more focused on fixing the country. He is likely also still waiting for JD Vance to prove himself as the right man for the job for more than just three weeks.
For months, however, investigative journalist Laura Loomer, a friend of the President, has been predicting that “The 2028 Presidential ticket is going to be Vance-Trump” with Donald Trump Jr. serving as Vice President.
The 2028 Presidential ticket is going to be Vance-Trump.
JD Vance @JDVance will run for President and @DonaldJTrumpJr will run as his VP.

Baier: Do you view Vice President JD Vance as your successor, the Republican nominee in 2028?
Trump: No, but he’s very capable. I mean, I don’t think that it, you know, I think you have a lot of very capable people. So far, I think he’s doing a fantastic job. It’s too early. We’re just starting.
Baier: But by the time you get to the midterms, he’s going to be looking for an endorsement.
Trump: A lot of people have said that this has been the greatest opening, almost three weeks in the history of the President… We’ve done so much so fast, and we really had to because they have really, what they’ve done to our country is so sad. It’s so sad. We’re going to be bigger, better, and stronger than ever before.
