Sydney Leday, a woman who was hit by a stray bullet during a shooting which killed rapper Takeoff, claims to owe $200,000 in medical bills after slipping into a coma which left her in the hospital for a week.
She has endured a long road to recovery and her family has set up a GoFundMe to help with her six-digit medical bills.
Leday opened up about the hardships in a new interview with The Shade Room, revealing that she has a bald spot from where she was shot in the head and now attends therapy sessions to treat her PTSD.
The shooting left her in a coma for a week in the hospital. The police arrested Patrick Clark for the murder of the rapper, but have still not named a suspect for the bullet that struck Leday.
Leday recalled being “caught off guard” when someone pulled out a weapon and shot in the bowling alley.
