As reported earlier, an American Airlines flight carrying approximately 60 souls collided with a Blackhawk helicopter near Washington D.C. Reagan National Airport (DCA).
The helicopter and plane collided over the Potomac.
According to CNN there are confirmed fatalities. Rescuers have not pulled any survivors from the water.

Per radio traffic, 19 bodies have been recovered so far, out of the 60+ on the plane.

All flights were cancelled following the devastating crash.

• It was an American Airlines flight Number 5342 from Wichita, Kansas inbound to Reagan International Airport.
• A police helicopter crashed into the incoming AA flight.
• The helicopter was a Blackhawk helicopter
• According to the Metropolitan Police Department, no casualties have been confirmed at this time.
The FBI said no indication of terrorism.
