It’s officially the first day of Spring on Monday, but don’t expect warm weather just yet.
The National Weather Service has issued a Freeze Warning from 1am to 9am for Houston, Trinity, San Jacinto, Polk, and northern Liberty counties. Our northeastern counties will feel the coldest with temperatures in the mid to lower 30s.
Frost and freezing temperatures could harm sensitive vegetation and leave unprotected outdoor plumbing at risk. To stay safe, take steps to protect plants and pets from the cold.
The weather will gradually warm up until the end of the week when another cold front arrives.
