Christopher Gonzalez, who sexually assaulted and strangled a 25-year-old woman to death in 2005 before discarding her body on the side of a parkway, has been sentenced to at least 20 years to life in a New York state penitentiary.
Westchester County Judge Robert Neary imposed the sentence for the murder of Angel Serbay, following a joint investigation by the NY State Police and the New York City Police Department.
Gonzalez pleaded guilty to committing both murders, and his DNA was matched to them after a re-run of a fingerprint from the suspected killer’s prints in 2017.
