Black Lives Matter supporter Julia Roberts is extremely upset about looting — now that celebrity homes in Los Angeles are the ones being targeted.
Criminals have been taking advantage of the chaos caused by the fires and are looting multimillion-dollar homes, many of which belong to Hollywood celebrities.
In the week since the fires began, approximately 30 people have been arrested for looting the abandoned mansions.
In an Instagram post promoting the SoCal Fire Fund on Monday, Roberts wrote, “There is so much healing and help needed. We will get through this. #F.U.Looters.”

Roberts did not post condemning looters during the deadly Black Lives Matter riots in 2020 over the death of George Floyd. Instead, the award-winning actress served as an “ally” and posted her support for the movement.
“White privilege is real. Take a minute to consider a Black person’s experience today. #BlackLivesMatter,” Roberts wrote in an Instagram post on May 29, 2020.

On that evening, rioters in Washington, DC, caused President Donald Trump, First Lady Melania, and their son Barron to have to move to a bunker for safety.
Property damage from arson, vandalism, and looting during the BLM riots is estimated to have ranged from $1 to $2 billion.
During the 2024 presidential election, Roberts was brutally mocked for an ad in which she urged women to vote Democrat and not tell their husbands.
“In the one place in America where women still have a right to choose, you can vote any way you want, and no one will ever know,” Roberts said in the Harris/Walz campaign ad.
In the voting booth, women still have the right to choose.
Thank you to Julia Roberts for helping us make the choice clear – November 5th, let’s all choose a new path forward.#progressive #progressivechristianity #voteblue #harris2024 #prowomen #evangelicalsforharris pic.twitter.com/fchO3yj1na

“Remember, what happens in the booth stays in the booth,” Roberts concluded. “Vote Harris-Walz.”
