The woman killed after being set ablaze by an illegal alien on a New York City subway still has not been identified because her burns are so severe.
According to The New York Post, the victim’s fingerprints were burned so medical examiners are working to identify her by other methods.
“We continue to work with partner agencies to confirm the identity of the decedent, after which attempts will be made to contact next of kin before releasing details to the media,” the medical examiner said, according to The New York Post.
The New York Post reported:
The straphanger torched by an illegal migrant on a Brooklyn F train Sunday was so badly burned that authorities are still struggling to identify her two days after the horrific attack, prosecutors and sources said.
According to sources, the victim was asleep but alive when she was set ablaze at the Coney Island station, allegedly by Guatemalan migrant Sebastian Zapeta-Calil, and had a walker and some bags with her at the time — but cops struggled to pull fingerprints because of her scorched skin.
Brooklyn prosecutors said at Zapeta-Calil’s arraignment on murder and arson charges Tuesday that the “very badly burned” victim remains a Jane Doe.
Assistant District Attorney Ari Rosenberg said the medical examiner ruled the cause of death as “smoke inhalation and thermal injuries.”
The Guatemalan who burned a woman to death on a New York City subway is an illegal alien who was previously deported by the Trump Administration in June 2018.
The Guatemalan illegal, Sebastian Zapeta, crossed into the US in Arizona on June 1, 2018 and was deported a few days later on June 7, 2018.
Zapeta then reentered the US illegally as a ‘gotaway’ at an unknown time and location and roamed around freely thanks to Joe Biden.

The Gateway Pundit reported on Sunday that a woman was fatally lit on fire aboard a stationary F train at Brooklyn’s Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue subway station.
The attack occurred around 7:30 a.m. when the suspect, without any prior interaction, approached the woman—who appeared to be sleeping—and ignited her clothing using a lighter.
Police believe that the man was sitting across from her on the train while she was napping and that he got up and tossed a lit match at her.
“Liquor bottles were laying around the victim, though it wasn’t clear if they played any part in the blaze,” the Post report adds.
Adding to the outrage, a transit police officer is seen walking past the burning woman, appearing to speak on a radio but continuing down the platform without rendering immediate assistance or attempting to apprehend the perpetrator.
